ABOUT US.

Power Down Under Pty Ltd is a Western Australian owned electrical, communications and civil contractor delivering high voltage and low voltage infrastructure to the mining, resources, construction and utilities sectors. From our base in Gnangara we service metropolitan Perth, the Pilbara, the Goldfields and regional WA.

We are licensed and resourced to self-perform the complete electrical scope. On the high voltage side that covers HV reticulation and underground cabling, substation, switchroom and kiosk installation, transformer set-down and connection, cable jointing and termination, earthing systems, HV testing and pre-energisation support. On the low voltage side it covers main switchboards and distribution, motor control centres and VSD installations, sub-mains and final subcircuits, area and high-mast lighting, fixed plant and process electrical, and full test and commissioning to AS/NZS 3000.

Power Down Under employs upward of 40 electricians and apprentices, supported by in-houseproject managers, supervisors, high voltage specialists and civil crews. Because that workforceis directly employed rather than hired in, we mobilise quickly, hold quality and safety to our ownaccount, and run concurrent projects without diluting supervision.

Our directors remain hands-on across every project. That combination of a genuine self-performcapability, an integrated WHSEQ management system and long-standing tier one clientrelationships is what allows us to take a package from design and cable schedule through toenergisation and ongoing maintenance under one accountable contract.
